Firmer skin, from the structure up.

What it is

Firmness, lost. Structure, rebuilt.

Body skin laxity is a loss of firmness and elasticity that leaves the skin loose, soft and less structurally firm — often on the arms, abdomen or thighs.

It is commonly associated with age-related change, weight loss, pregnancy or reduced collagen production. Because it is a structural change rather than a surface one, we read elasticity and skin thickness before choosing a pathway.

"Laxity is not about the surface. It is about what supports the surface — and that is where the treatment goes."
How it shows up

Signs patients actually describe.

If two or more of these sound familiar, an elasticity assessment will tell us which pathway fits.

01

“My skin has become loose.”

Reduced firmness leaving the skin soft and less defined across body areas.

02

“It's slow to bounce back.”

Delayed recovery after the skin is stretched, a marker of reduced elasticity.

03

“My arms or abdomen sag.”

A sagging appearance on the arms, abdomen or thighs.

04

“The skin feels soft, not firm.”

A loss of structural firmness that patients notice by touch.

05

“The texture looks crepey.”

Wrinkled or uneven surface texture accompanying the laxity.

06

“It changed after weight loss.”

Reduced firmness following weight change or pregnancy.

Why it happens

Drivers to consider.

It is rarely one factor. The pathway follows whichever driver the assessment identifies.

TypeClinical nameWhat it looks likePathway
01Collagen and elastin loss. The skin produces less structural protein over time, softening its support.Stimulators
02Age-related change.Slower turnover and hormonal shifts change how the skin holds tension.Multi-pathway
03Weight loss.Rapid loss leaves the skin's surface area disproportionate to the tissue beneath.Device tightening
04Pregnancy change.Stretching and hormonal shifts reduce firmness, especially on the abdomen.RF microneedling
05Connective-tissue flags.Suspected collagen or connective-tissue disorders are assessed medically first.Medical referral
Diagnostics first

Read the structure, then rebuild.

A laxity visit begins with a reading of skin elasticity, thickness and structure. The pathway matches the driver — not just the visible surface.

How we treat

Pathways, matched.

One aim: rebuild the support the skin has lost. The lead device firms structurally; supporting pathways deepen or extend the result.

Book a consultation

Begin with a diagnosis.

A Beauté Concept specialist reads your skin's elasticity and structure, then designs the pathway. If a treatment is right for you, we plan it; if it is not, we tell you that too.
