A more defined shape, in proportion.

Body contouring combines treatments that refine shape and definition — reducing localised fat, firming skin and restoring balanced proportions. It begins with a composition reading and a map of the target areas.

What it is

Shape, considered as a whole.

Body contouring is a combination of aesthetic treatments aimed at improving the shape and definition of the body — reducing localised fat deposits, improving skin firmness and restoring balanced proportions.

It is often used after weight loss, where volume distribution is uneven, or to address an individual aesthetic concern. Because it usually spans more than one layer, we map the areas and read composition before combining pathways.

"Contouring is not one treatment. It is a sequence, planned around what the body actually shows on assessment."
How it shows up

What patients come in for.

If two or more of these sound familiar, a mapped assessment will show which combination of pathways fits your goals.

01

“I'm not happy with my shape.”

A general dissatisfaction with proportion that a mapped plan can address area by area.

02

“There are localised fat deposits.”

Specific pockets that resist diet and exercise and suit targeted treatment.

03

“My contours look uneven.”

Asymmetry or unevenness in body outline across regions.

04

“The skin is loose or sagging.”

Reduced firmness that firming pathways address alongside fat reduction.

05

“Weight loss left changes behind.”

Residual shape changes after weight loss that respond to contouring.

06

“I want more definition.”

A goal of clearer, more balanced definition, planned across sessions.

Why it happens

What we assess.

Contouring follows the assessment. These are the factors that shape the plan.

TypeClinical nameWhat it looks likePathway
01Fat distribution.Where volume sits, and whether it is localised or general, sets the first lever.Device + injectable
02Skin elasticity. How well the skin retracts determines whether firming is part of the plan.Device tightening
03Post-weight-loss change.Rapid loss can leave skin and contour disproportionate to the tissue beneath.Combined pathway
04Volume loss. Some areas need volume restored rather than reduced, for balance.Lipofilling / filler
05Metabolic or endocrine flags.Unexplained weight change is assessed medically before an aesthetic plan.Medical referral
Diagnostics first

Map it, then sequence it.

A contouring visit begins with a body-composition reading and a map of the target areas. The plan combines pathways in a sequence, not a single treatment.

How we treat

Pathways, combined.

One aim: refine shape across layers. The lead device reduces and firms; supporting pathways add definition, drainage and volume where needed.
